We Are At A Starting Point!

All men at the Grove, please make plans to attend our monthly Men’s Brotherhood meeting 5 Dec 17 @ 6:30 PM….We are starting! Watch Short Video.

The gospel is immeasurably powerful. Scripture is sharper than any two-edged sword; It glorifies the power of God and defines His gift of salvation. As promised in the Bible, the Spirit of God gives us words to say and strength to say them. So sharing the gospel should be easy, right? What do we need besides our Bibles, willingness and the Holy Spirit?

Over and over in Scripture, Paul considered how to present himself to unbelievers for the sake of the gospel. He never changed his message, but he frequently changed his tactics, habits and demeanor.

“To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law… to the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all means I might save some” (1 Corinthians 9:20-22).

It’s amazing to read how Paul considered what factors would be engaging for those around him and what factors would be off-putting to the crowd and culture he was in each time he spoke.

Dinner will be provided, so come an let’s start our movement of God’s men at the grove .

Things We do as We grow and Our Needs Become Clear.

  • Keep the Bible central.
  • Study the work of the Brotherhood and its biblical background.
  • Establish programs of action and of interest.
  • Lead new male converts to find joy in church work.

Our Brotherhood can be kept alive only if the men have something definite, challenging, and significant to do. Just to have a busy schedule will not suffice. We may want to form small groups of men with like interests, fishermen, golfers, auto enthusiasts, and etc., all having Christ at the center but also pursuing their other passions as well. These small groups can carry out small ministry projects on their own but come together at intervals to give a report of their stewardship as well as participate in the total brotherhood program. The main thing is to keep the men engaged in ministry.

Make plans to attend! You will be Blessed.  Any questions, please call Brother Dennis Douglas @ Ph#: 352-3591271.
