Children’s Ministry

At Forest Grove, we LOVE Children! And we believe that isn’t just a catchy thing to say to bring in families, we believe that children have the ability, and we have the responsibility to lead them to Christ.

We also believe that children have a place of service. The Lord did not put an age limit on those who could do good in His name, and we love to lead our little ones in helping others in the name of Jesus!

An exciting aspect of our Children’s Ministry is the focus on Missions. Whether in their own neighborhood or in a foreign country, they engage in projects that bring Jesus to the world.

(If you need assistance in finding your child’s class, any usher or security member would be glad to help you)

Children’s Ministry activities include:

Birth to 3- (Nursery) Loving, dedicated, and trained, and screened workers are available to care for your child while you are in worship service. (Available for every regular service. Located in the Education Building.)

4yrs-Kindergarten (TeamKid) helps children from age three through kindergarten grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially and includes missions and Bible skills every week (Meets Wednesday in the Education Building)

First- Fifth Grades (Kids on Mission) Children will not only have the opportunity to learn about missionaries and the countries they serve in but have opportunities to participate in home mission projects. (Meets Wednesday in the Education Building)

4yrs-5th Grades (King’s Kids) Every Sunday night our kids are led in various projects and activities to strengthen their relationship with Jesus. (Meets Sunday Night in the Education Building)

(At this time Kids 4 and up stay in the Sanctuary with their families on Sunday Morning as we do not currently offer Children’s Church. We are praying for the Lord to prompt someone who has a passion for leading Children’s Church to step up to the task. Until that time, we enjoy the time of family closeness in worship and the example our church familiy can set for our little ones.)
